Where's that video of the Edmonton Dallas game where the guy misses the empty net goal and they turn around and score at the other end. You never know what can happen, the net was empty so their intent was to try and score.
There was two seconds left so this wasn't going to happen, but that's irrelevant. it's playoffs. You score that goal.
And, to their credit (? - we've seen a lot less set off scrums over the years) the Canucks didn't seem to have an issue with it, considering he also roofed it...but no big celebration after or rubbing it in, that way.

They were also two goals up, so the game was out of reach.
That said, I had no issue with it. Like I said on the other thread, wouldn't it be a bigger slap in the face if he takes a sure goal and walks around the net or just casually leaves it in the crease, or plays keep away?
If he held it, some Canuck would have taken a run at him, too.
What are your thoughts? Some say he should have showed grace and dumped the puck into the corner with 2 seconds left and not run up the score. What do you think?
Grace and playoffs cannot exist in the same sentence.
The Herm Edwards rant is applicable to "running up the score" debate imo- not just from a Flames perspective, but for the Canucks as well. The Canucks pull Miller even though it is obvious they have lost, and Ferland scores that goal even though it is clear they have won.

You should actually point out who "some say" refers to. Though by saying "Vancouver media say he should have showed grace..." your post loses its troll bite. Which I suspect was the intention.
