Great game by Backland and Hiller. Disappointed by the overall effort, wasn't really close despite the score.

Really bad loss because most of the team played well. Especially Backlund and Hiller

It was never going to be that easy. Two more chances to get this done.

That was really disappointing. No urgency from the Flames.

I said the Flames in six, and I still stand by it. The boys will come out flying and Hartley will out-coach Desjardins at home.

Meh.

Flames looked like they were nervous. Passes were all over and players were hesitating on shots. Didn't deserve to win.

They get to win it at home instead.

Basically, on the road Hartley can't get the matchups. When he's had the matchups they've destroyed the Canuck lines they're playing against.

If Hiller plays this well they're fine.

Don't worry, the C of Red will get them going.

That was a pathetic performance, and hopefully that wakes them up.

Vancouver played a more desperate game. They young guys were unable to match that intensity, simple as that. We still have home ice here! Hartley...for the love of everything holy....just get these guys to shoot the puck man!!!!!! Too many opportunities missed looking for the pass or a better shooting lane. Do what you did in games 3 & 4 in simply crashing the net.

It was nice of Hiller to keep the score respectable. Garbage effort, had hoped they'd gotten this out of their system after the first couple games.

Gaudreau had 3 turn overs in a row in the final 6 minutes...

Meh. Didn't expect to finish it tonight. Canucks had their backs against the wall and played really well.

Flames in 6. Win it at home in convincing fashion.

Heard on the radio that eliminating a team on the road in game 5 happens like 33% of the time, then that series ends in game 6 78% of the time

a few instances where they hesitated to take the shot right away.
Sedins are a huge threat. Need to watch out for them

This is where being a Flames fan has been historically painful. They let the Canucks off the hook and if the play of the first line is any indication may be running on empty.
