The Canucks will come out hard, the Flames will come out hitting, the Canucks wear out by the end of the first and get frustrated.
Ferland gets like 20 penalties as the league deems all this stuff is his fault for hitting too hard, but the Canucks can't take advantage.
Sometime in the first period Ferland runs over Bieksa and Hamhuis.
The Flames go up by two halfway through the third and tempers errupt.

playoffs are great ... the emotion a playoff series is second to none.
My 13 year old has never experienced this. Was 7 when they were in the playoffs and doesn't really have that "feel". Tonight he's going, which is essentially his first game.
To watch him depressed when the Flames were down in game 1, to elated they won, to thinking the Flames were dust after game 2, to thinking they can't lose after game three is both a blast to watch, and a big explanation point to drill home how we all rock back and forth in a series.
Calgary looked so inferior in game 2 that I had to admit it felt like "the Canucks awoke" or "the Flames were figuered out."
After game three it was the opposite.
I've given up on predicting this mess, just glad Calgary only needs to be .500 in the final 4 games to win this thing.
Really hoping the kid gets a win to see tonight though.

I like it, it gives me assurance that Canuck fans can watch their team get no where again.

Quit whining. Starts at 10 for us in the Eastern time zone and usually ends close to 1 A.M. I get up every morning at 6. This doesn't even deal with the poor souls across the globe that have to watch it at ungodly hours like 4 A.M.
It's the playoffs, man. What are you willing to sacrifice in order to support your team?

Look out for head snaps and plenty of glove shakes from the Canucks tonight. I have a feeling we're gonna see a parade of Flames players to the penalty box.

I was busy the afternoon before Game 3 and then attended the game, so I missed lineup discussions. It looks like Raymond and Wotherspoon subbed in for Granlund and Potter in Game 3? Is the lineup expected to be unchanged for Game 4?

"weathering the storm" was needed game II and the flames utterly failed.
I hope hartley has the team prepped to not lose the game in the first 10 minutes, another strong start will be critical.
Go Flames Go!!!

Even Dumber how Captain Sedin went whining to the reg about it and tried to plead a case. What a joke.

Like I said in the OP, with optional practices, it's hard to be sure, but Hartley rarely changes anything after a win. Wotherspoon only had 5 minutes in the last game, so he wasn't exactly playing a critical role and could be replaced if Hartley didn't like what he saw. Raymond had a pretty strong game from my perspective, so it looks like he'll likely play again tonight.

Yeah, I wasn't happy with the 8 PM starts, but then thinking about those poor souls in the East and an 11 PM start, I don't feel so bad.
GFG!

What are the chances that some tickets will be released at noon today? The cheapest single ticket on TM is $230, but would prefer something at the back of lvl 2 at $130ish.

I am constantly amazed at the variety of CPers here who live, or are travelling, in far-flung locations, finding ways to watch our beloved Flames and who get up (stay up, watch while working....) at all hours to do so.
You are fantastic!

US television actually. They want doubleheaders. STL, NSH and even WPG tomorrow have been playing at 8:30pm local.

Press Level seats are going for $190-250 on stubhub, and 2nd bowl seats are $250 and up. You're not going to find $130ish tickets anywhere below the Press Level.

Getting up at 3am to watch is tough but in a series like this sooo worth it! Nice seeing the comments on here from other Flames in exile across the globe.
