I assume he means Bennett, who IMO has not been the best player and in any event is not out with an injury.

Hoping for a huge response for the boys tonight. I am jealous of everyone going to the game tonight. I hope the crowd amps it up several notches. Make the Dome the hardest building in the league to come into.
With our team full of young guys I really think the crowd is going to fuel the adrenaline and give them the edge they need.
The top line is poised to break out. I suspect 2pts each from the top unit tonight. Bennett is also going to have a big game. I think Bennett is going to really hit his stride in game 4-5 and it will be tough to keep him off the scoresheet
I want to see us take the physical play to their blueline in a big way. I'd like to hear reports of the Canucks being banged up. I question their character and think they will wilt if they get some bumps and bruises on their blueline.

I'd rather Wotherspoon in over Potter tonight. Last game he missed his man who scored the 3-0 goal. And in the brawl, two of his linemates are embattled and enduring dirty nonsense from the Canucks and he's just there smiling and waltzing around with Sbisa instead of going in to give Engelland or Stajan some aid. Seriously, #### that guy.

Glad to have the series back here having stole home ice advantage. Back in the Saddledome and happy not to be subjected to the piss poor CBC Jim Hughson Canucks circle jerk and Lack Daddy production.

Need this win to palette cleanse the McD weekend - nervous confidence going into the game tonight. Think Bennett and Ferland have big games under the home crowd.
Have the linesmen or refs confirmed that this was made up? Because it still baffles me.
Hamhuis isn't a fighter, so you wouldn't expect him to do something like that. Further, he kept his gloves on and is basically just tying Engelland up and dragging him to the ice more than fighting. When Dorsett re-engages after they get up, Hamhuis steps away. So his behavior actually lines up with his story.
What doesn't make much sense is, if the refs ASKED him to do that, why would they then kick him out of the game? The only explanation I can think of is that they were just kicking out everyone involved so as not to have to deal with them anymore.
Exactly, which is why it's a lie. There's no way he heard that from across the ice, and the way he raced over it was obviously 100% his decision.

We need this game tonight to to avoid what could be the worst weekend a Flames fan can have. If we lose 2 games to one of our hated rivals and watch our other hated rival land the most hyped prospect in 10 years. I can't handle that.
Gotta win tonight boys!!!

This kind of fan histrionics is really bothering me... It's getting out of hand. You don't know it was a lie, and literally no one has accused him of lying outside of the fans. Yet you're 100% certain. I personally have no idea but Hamhuis isn't a dirty player and I'm prepared to take his word in the absence of anyone saying otherwise. That still raises the issue of whether officials should be deputizing players (LOL NOPE), obviously, but that's totally separate.
It'd be nice if everyone kept their heads on their shoulders and their feet grounded in reality in this series. This kind of sensationalism makes me cringe.
