Bah, it's not the Flames overall level of play, it's the first line struggling if anything, driving that. And fine, yes they have to pull it together in the next couple games, but that just the ebb and flow of hockey and playoff series.
That doesn't tick me off, they look so so in a bunch of regular season games as well.
Ticked off about the cowardly officiating let the Canucks take severe liberties and incompetence may lead to unfair discipline (or lack thereof).

What has me actually ticked?
Crappy ice. There's no excuse for it in a Pro Sports arena.

I think option 2 led to option 3, I'm obviously pissed at the canucks actions at the end but it only happened BECAUSE of the officials.

everything on the list was aggravating but if the Flames played to their potential we wouldn't even be mad right now, even with potential suspensions.

Can we get a copy of CBC's email to complain?

The officiating was absolutely bush league at the end. I am not saying we should have come out on top, or vice versa with the call slant, but these are supposed to be the cream of the crop officials, and they let it unravel into a complete dog and pony show. With everything going on, and not being there, it's pretty damn impossible to decide who should have got what, but it should have never unravelled that bad. The league should be talking to that crew, and straightening them up. If an official, actually asked Hamhuis to go third man in, that official should be benched for the rest of the playoffs.

CBC has nothing to do with it. They simply rebroadcast SNets programming

I went with officials handling of the melee but honestly, I'm frustrated with officiating in general.
I made this comment back in the loss to Colorado a couple of weeks ago: the refs putting the whistles away and not calling the game true is hampering the Flames system. Rey can't use their speed because there's a lot of interference and stick work that's not being called. The Flames are too small to deal with the obstruction.

I went with the official(s) handling of the melee. That was a real circus at the time, but it just kept getting worse after the game. If the Flames end up with a suspension and the Canucks get nothing, that's still on "the officials", and would be a real joke.
The Flames level of play was a little disconcerting, but even when it was 3-1, everyone in the building still knew they had a chance, so that was good.

The level of play. I thought going in that they would probably lose game 2 but I just hoped for a better effort than what they gave.

I found to things most annoying from Game 2:
1. The Flames level of play
2. Officials handling of the melee
I found the other listed options to be only mildly annoying, comparatively (though admittedly still annoying).

I want to see how the league handles this whole thing. They could potentially take the prize and in the process pour gasoline on what is now burning embers.

I'd actually go a step further and say they shouldn't officiate in the league ever again.

Noise is good, takes some pressure off... cause Hudler and Monahan are arguably our 2 worst players right now. Who knew in Regehr's last game of his career, playing against his long time home, he'd do so much damage lol... that is one mean SOB of a defenseman.

The Flames are playing a series against the slimiest group of players with the worst group of fans in the league, of course there was going to be ugly stuff. Much more disappointed in how they came out of the gate in game 2 than anything else, they didn't even look like a team that should be in the playoffs during that first period
