Known/presumed status of Bouma, Byron, Diaz, Ramo?

I was at the game in Winnipeg and paid a lot of attention to Poirier , Ferland, Bennett and a few others.. Poirier didn't bring a lot of energy and was quite disappointing. Im sure Hartley and the staff are pretty disappointed in him and he was benched for this reason. Im not sure what is up with Poirier but it is worrying... very worrying...

Bennett for his first game was pretty good as was Wotherspoon. Ferland looking better every game and if he keeps progressing will be a real stud for us.

Bouma being out is not great, but Byron can play that role (minus the goals ) so hopefully he's back soon. And Bouma being out seems to be giving Ferland the chance he needs ... noticeable in a lot of good ways the last 2 games.

I hope Byron comes back soon. I just watched one of the trash talk videos on YouTube. There's a clip with Drew Doughty having a fit and swearing at Byron. He could be the agitator we need to throw a team like the Canucks off their game.

Souray also fought McCarty back when he was in Calgary and broke his face open with his arm brace, got a few games suspension if I remember right.

Around 0:31 giving fist-pounds out with his left (he's in the light purple shirt), then 0:58-0:59, and a couple seconds after that behind Gio in the doorway

My memory is he didn't take it off before fighting McCarthy and he busted him up pretty bad.

Diaz and Bouma hurt.

Buuuuut, I think Ferland can step up and fill in for Bouma. His play against LA convinced me of that.

Huge opportunity for Ferland. I think he could have playoff hero written all over him. Hopefully Bennett gets a shot since he has game breaking potential

Really sucks about Bouma. That guy plays a game that teams need to be successful in the playoffs. Warrior down. Like others have said, so glad Ferland has stepped up, we need that kind of game in our lineup.

Totally agree. With Ferland's play of late he can really fill in Byron's roll. Once we get through the Canucks having some more physical presence is going to be key. If Byron can come back with the energy we have seen from him in mid-season, he will provide some added grit.

Hope we see Ramo practicing soon.

Bouma has been so good that it would take a combination of Byron and Ferland playing their minds out to equal Bouma.

Losing Bouma was a huge, huge blow unfortunately. Maybe the lack of details regarding the injury means it's rather short term and he's sitting for precautionary reasons.

One can hope.
