Nothing close to being famous but lots of brushes with celebrities. I did do a few commercials when I worked TV in a small northern town.
Been to many wrap parties with some big time actors. Pacino was probably one of the coolest, nicest ones I ever met. Williams as well. Had lunch at Simply Thai in Yaletown with Jason Statham before he was famous. Been in a small group that went for dinner with Chris Carter and few others from the XFile movie including Gillian Anderson (I was a bumbling idiot). Worked a private screening of the original Hulk film for Ben Afleck and Jennifer Lopez, she was a bitch but he was cool. Won't comment on what happened later but I hear they are no longer together for some reason.
Use to play basketball against a lot of the Stampeders, Flutie, Pope, Peewee, Crandle. Bruce Coverington was my neighbor for awhile along with a few other O-linemen, he was a great neighbor! Jeff Garcia moved in after him but I left shortly after that.
I sat next to Steve Jobs on a business flight back in 07. Asked him if he'd ever seen that spoof MadTV did about a product called iPad. He said he didn't think it was funny.
I told him it'd be cool if they made something like a laptop without a keyboard, where you could just write on the screen and it would be easier to carry. He laughed and said that was stupid.
I asked him what he thought of the chicken Kiev. He said he thought it sucked.
I put my headphones back on and watched movies. He never got up to use the bathroom, so I wasn't disturbed and eventually fell asleep.
When we landed, he said he really had to take a pee, so I let him out so he could leave the plane before me. He said thank you.
I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic.
Or if he was actually Steve Jobs.
True story.
And after that flight, Jobs pulled everyone of what they were doing, and put his army of engineers at work on the iPad. "Gentlemen, I have a vision that was brought to me by a man with a weak bladder, but a powerful mind. I give you 2 years to realize that vision. It is a laptop like device, but with no keyboard. You simply "write" <air quoting with fingers> on the screen. This is the device that will revolutionize portable computing"
Dude, you invented the iPad. My latest brush with celebrity is flylox shocks. Creator of the iPad. He posted in my lame thread!
I have met quite a few hockey legends like Howe, Hull, Mahovlich, Lafleur, Cheevers, Joseph, Bower, Trottier, Roenick, most of the Flames from the early 90's and most of the young Flames that are either in juniors or Adirondack. I also met Princess Diana's brother, along with quite a few politicians. My cousin is an actress that's played in a bunch of movies and tv shows.

I played on the same team with 2 top 5 NHL picks for about 8 years all thru out minor hockey, and i often play shinny in the summer with 3 recent top 5 picks and a third rounder in the Calgary system, and a 3rd rounder for the Devils... Our private club is a hockey factory.
Also went to High School and sat next to Hitmen Grad, Brady Brassart haha kind of a D-bag sometimes, but also has a good sense of humour we got up to shenanigans every class, he thought he was a lock for a 1st round pick
I was on the front cover of the Calgary Mirror newspaper back in the early 90's promoting the Stampede. I'm also in a wedding magazine as my sisters wedding was featured in it. Met a few athletes (Craig Conroy, Nik Lewis, Bret Hart to name a few).

I won a contest back when I was 12 to get golf lessons from Stephen Ames. It was me and about 9 other kids. It was pretty neat, we got a new set of clubs (only a driver, 5,7,9 iron and putter) and about 5 minutes of one on one time with Ames. He told me that I had as good a swing as he did at 12 (probably told every kid that) and after he was done with the lessons he did a couple of drives for us (drawing the ball and such). Pretty cool experience overall.
Back in 2011 I placed third in the freestyle division of the world moustache championship. I was in some newspapers for a couple weeks then it died down. It pretty fun when a couple people recognized me on the street though.

...I took a hiatus from acting for a long time. Now back into it. I made this at the request of my agent. It's quite possible I'll take this down tomorrow. That is all.
I went to college in central California and one day decided to go play a round of golf on my own. Ended up getting put with Jimmy Connor's group. After a few holes of even play he challenged me to a match for 10 bucks, which he won with a birdie on the last.
Super nice (and competitive) guy and a really cool experience.

Oh. Possibly NSFW...right.
Dude, you're an awesome actor. Don't give it up. You have a genuine star quality and it would only be a matter of time before you hit the A-list.
Now, if you hit the A-list, because of MY pep talk here... I expect a 2% royalty.
Jk.... I recognize almost all your roles. And have always liked your work.

I was friends with Bret the Hitman Harts kid in elementary school... also during that time, I was friends with Lindy Ruff's nephew.
One of my soccer games was on TV once (It was U-11) but it was probably once of those 2pm on a weekday on Shaw for local community crap.
I had a summer job once at the Calgary Stampede, where one of my screw ups made it onto the news.
I once pissed in a urinal stall next to the Ralph Klein (RIP)
I was friends with a guy who shot a security guard at the Pentagon... he was shot and killed on site. Obama talked about him on the news. (No I didnt know he was crazy at the time)
My wife was 1 second away from the world record as a competitive swimmer, she was close to making the Olympics but lost interest as she was moving on to other interests. She is also apparently going to be in the New York Times and CNN soon for her startup company since they just launched last week. One of the guys at her company is dating a singer that is apparently famous, I talked to her a bit last week but I forgot her name already, cause apparently by the age of 30 I stop paying attention to the whole music and media scene.

for work, some of my stuff ended up in the hands of then prime minister paul martin. i also did a bunch of stuff for harrison ford (he had a plane getting worked on in kelowna and saw the work i had done on the jackets that the plane company had and decided that he wanted to get a pic of his plane embroidered onto caps - so i got the call). i did some work for the canadiens and my design was used on caps that they sold thru their online store. i also worked on one of the cap designs the flames were going to use had they won the cup in '04.
i don't know if i can pull it off this spring/summer - but i'd love to get justin schultz to come by and watch a playoff game at my place... preferably a flames game just becuz that would be funny. but i'm sure if he did, there's no way he'd let me get a pic becuz he knows full well it would end up on cp! ha! ha!

If it's a reel you may want to fix the audio sync in the funeral scene. It's about a quarter of a second off. It's the little things.
So, I'll ask the question that everybody is thinking... Did she really put the condom on and was your face "method" acting?
I've met Pamela Anderson, Kid Rock, Johnny Reid, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Tobey Kieth, there are a lot more country music entertainers but I just don't care enough to remember their names. Also, Denis Gauthier, Martin Gelinas, Michael Dorn (In the 90's), Mark Whalburg (In the 90's). I just missed meeting Keith Urban's wife Nicole Kidman... Keith Urban was a great guy and so was Johnny Reid. They came across as really down to earth.
A friend of mine was applying to be Russel Crow's assistant for the shooting of Mystery Alaska, and after he didn't get the job, he came back and said in total awe, "Russel Crow is the most beautiful man I have ever seen".
