I wonder if 7th st will be the weak point, or if most people currently going 5th ave, 7th st, 6th ave will be the ones using the new route and won't add much additional traffic to 7th.

of course 4 car trains really means that we now have increased our chances of hitting a c-train by 33.3%. the carnage will be horrible.

Has that really happened? Four C-Train cars? All I know is that all stations are now ready for them, but does not necessarily mean they are attached yet.

How's the reversal working out? Completely anarchy? EPS CPS and city crews are supposed to be directing confused people but that only ever works in theory.

Funny, I rode home today on the cycle track and totally forgot to look. Had there been mass pandemonium I suspect I would have noticed though. Maybe.

I saw lots of city employees put along 5th. The lane reversal looked like it was slowing down traffic along 4th Ave heading west down the Bow Trail connector. The transition from 5th onto the Bow connector was a major choking point.

I truly appreciate that the computer simulation was actually able to capture the erratic lane changes (both 1 & 2 lanes), have cars riding the lines and mimic your all around twitchy Calgary driver.
