17 Mile House just outside of Sooke. The seafood chowder is amazing and the Guinness is divine

Default Things to do in Victoria BC

If you've got a day, go whale watching. 100% worthwhile, particularly in one of the smaller boats.

If it's an evening and you need to do something for a couple hours, go on one of the Ghost Tours. You get a great tour of the city, some cool stories and history whether you believe or not, and I'm sure almost the entire group will enjoy it.

Example of what I learned when I did the ghost tour: the tiny little cemetery next to the cathedral, evman, you know the one I'm talking about, south-east of downtown, has those ten or so weathered headstones at the back, there are like 1200 people buried in that tiny park.

This one (Christ Church Cathedral)? If so, that is nuts.
