They need secondary scoring, as well would be nice for the goaltending to actually steal a game or two. The former is much more likely to occur than the latter I imagine though.

They haven't seemed to catch any breaks lately. Maybe a crappy goal or 2, a bad penalty call(s) against the opposition, off nights by some opposing players. Etc.
Seems like it's been forever since we've had a good break.

I voted blind ass luck because though I think they will get the points on this trip they need blind ass luck from the OOT or they are in trouble.

Healthy players.
I hope you guys are joking about the corsi. Don't we lose more games if we have better corsi? Supposed to be cheering for bad corsi!

Secondary scoring, without a doubt.
As unpopular as this may be, I think Raymond offers the best chance to provide it. Would love to see Hartley put him on a line with Backlund and Bouma/Jones, even it means a short leash...

different refs and a couple of favourable bounces
if the flames play "their game" it should be a great road trip

Ramo and or Hiller will have to steal a couple games, but really, secondary scoring is the biggest thing. Good teams will be able to shut down the top line in most cases. Secondary scoring will be crucial.

Secondary scoring for sure. Over the last 10 games, half of our goals (17/35) have come from the top line of Monahudreau. We need Jones (2), Backlund (2), Raymond (1), Colborne (1), Bouma (2) to help share the load. Stajan has been our best secondary scorer with 3 goals in the last 10.

Goaltending.
It's been some time since we could say our goalie stole us a game.
Hell, it's been some time since we could say the goalie didn't allow at least one questionable goal.

Secondary scoring.
If you rely on your defense for offense you are not going anywhere.

I'd love to see Backlund get into a nice goal streak right about now.

Hopefully the other teams lose some, then it's all relative!
Perhaps this speaks to why I'm not playing for the flames..

Need to remove Ramo and replace with "goaltender steals game". If Ramo doesn't play well tonight Hiller will surely start the next game and one of these guys has to start outplaying the goaltender on the other side of the ice.

I voted god mode goaltending. Goaltending can win you games when all fails (see Montreal)... secondary scoring on the other hand, isn't as significant if the other team is scoring more than the Flames.

I think they go 4-1. This was a mini slump they just endured, but it has to stop now.
Lines 2-4 have to snap out of this funk.
