I have and always we be a person that doesn’t care about post totals, and for me I’ll keep putting in and having fun making my Hurricanes look good by adding fluff to my post because after all that makes this league fun for myself as well, but for hitting 50 post, man that just seems high for me, way outside of my personality.

I just wanted to say that numbers isn’t everything. I’ll rather keeping posting the way I do as I think I’ll be adding more to the league then if I was to just add quick replies to have a nice high number.
I agree. I've been extremely active since joining the league and will continue to be just as active in the future...but I'm never going to be at the top of lists for number of posts. I think I can get more done by spending the extra time each day talking to other GM's on MSN than coming on here and replying to whatever I can.

Well that’s not what I’m really trying to say nyrcrisfer, Just to be clear I‘ll say it another way.

Sometimes it’s pretty common for you to see me create something like this for one of my post…

So even though my post count will always be on the low side of the majority, I just wanted to stress that sometimes there’s more effort put into low post totals then just adding a 3 line reply. It’s very important to post as much here as it is in every aspect of our duties in the CPHL but simply counting the number of post doesn’t reflect the commitment put into those post.

A minor related quibble from me….and by no means do I want this to come across too bitchy. However, I sent off a number of trade emails about 2 weeks ago to 3 GMs who haven’t replied at all (no need to name names). I think even if a trade inquiry as of no interest to a GM it would be great if they could still reply back with a simple “no thanks”. As I said, a minor quibble but a frustrating one.
This reminds me...

I sent a response to a trade proposal from you but didn't receive one back. Did you receive mine? [/b][/quote]
Hey Cam....if it was the discussions a while ago (where I was trying to swipe Vanek from you) then yeah. I did get it and I did respond. I just sent another response to it. I had problems with a couple of the agents where my replies sometimes when directly into their Spam folder instead of the inbox. Let me know if you get it so I know my emails are not dissapearing into cyberspace.

I know what you were saying, I just left out part of your response. My point was, and that part of your post that I'm agreeing with, is that the number of posts you have on the message boards doesn't always reflect a GM's dedication to the league. Some people say more in fewer posts than others, some GM's dedicate more time to 1 post than others dedicate to 20 posts, and some people decide to be more active in other areas of the league.

I tend to be on MSN all the time and lurk a lot when it comes to the boards. (I'm afraid to go in the corners with KG :P )

I am more active on the CP board now that season is closer after 4 years of lurking and only adding my 2 cents occasionally.

As for the CPHL board I wish I had more to report. Still trying to move prospects and picks with established CPHLers for small upgrades.
