I'd rather just beat them by more than 1 goal.

Bollig in over Poirier probably makes sense against the Ducks.

Flames are far more motivated than the Ducks for this win - here's hoping they take advantage of that.

Not even going to sugar coat. I expect to get blown out tonight.
Thinking 5-1 Ducks.
We're over due for the poor play to catch up to us.

I'm really nervous about this one. Ducks always scare me....oh and the hockey team.

Stajan with a free pass to do whatever the hell he wants tonight haha. Some serious grit on either side of him.

Should be a good game. I think it is very winnable but hoping for at least a point.

Notwithstanding their last game's result, the Ducks played well overall ( http://thenationnetwork.s3.amazonaws...8d9292353.jpeg).
This is going to be a tough one, but assuming Anderson is starting, he has looked a bit shaky recently. Special teams and goaltending battle could be the difference.

Heading to the game again - good to get the partner's good side, I guess!
Expecting a Ducks lead early, but a fun third period comeback. 3-2 OT win.

Honestly, I hope this happens. Seems like if we start strong we let up, but when we spot a 2 (or 4) goal lead we get better as the games goes on.

Looks like the goaltending matchup tonight at the Saddledome is #Flames Karri Ramo vs. Ducks John Gibson.
Eric Stephens @icemancometh
Shouldn't be much change in Ducks lineup. BB confirmed that Matt Beleskey (shoulder) and Sami Vatanen (leg) won't be in tonight vs. CGY.

Sitting at the airport and I looked up and was startled to see Brad Treliving sitting across from me. I figured he'd be watching the game tonight but looks like he's off to somewhere in the states.

A big thing with Poirier is also that if he plays 9+ games, we do lose that year off his ELC (...at least I think that is how it works with him this year).
Right now his ELC contract is still "sliding", even while he plays in the AHL.

Hopefully they can use the energy from the last half of the Ottawa game for a full 60 mins tonight.

Awesome news, I hate Anaheim's D. Vatanen has been very noticeable in previous match ups.
Now... if only Hampus Lindholm could get a 24hr flu or something. Damn Anahiem's young, Scandinavian d-men.
