For me it's... not Arizona, not Philadelphia, not Florida, not Colorado.
Florida and Colorado got their shot at a #1 pick recently enough, I'd want him somewhere that appeciates hockey (so not Arizona), and the state of Pennsylvania already had a run of Lemieux/Lindros/Crosby... let somewhere else on the planet have a turn at a generational talent.

They can enjoy Eichel, but I'd rather have another team get McDavid than them. If you're going to tank the whole entire year, don't make it obvious.
If I got to choose a team that should get him (besides the Flames of course), I'd like to see him in a Devil's jersey or the Hurricanes.

Damn. Misread the question and picked Arizona. Toronto without a doubt is the team I wouldn't want to get McDavid.
Arizona is the team I'd love to see win it, solely to drive every Canadian nuts and to really see if a generational talent like McDavid could turn that Franchise around.

Anyone but Colorado !!! I would rather see the Oilers get him cause they will just screw him up. Colorado got MacKinnon who they didn't deserve to get tanking out of the blue the way they did then miraculously getting better...Screw Colorado!!!

The obvious answer of the choices left was Toronto but I went for NJ. That is such an old team that McDavid would be wasted as it would take another 4-5 years for them to draft the rest of the players he would need around him.
