60 point pace rookie? (on a bad team)

No. We don't even know what we have yet and he's already one of the best players the Flames have had since the early 90's.

If his career progression stays consistent with how he developed in other leagues, we could easily be looking at a PPG player in a two or three seasons.

Dumb thread. Why would we trade the most popular young player on the team and why would a team with a top 2 pick in the draft teade for him. Terrible hypothetical thread

We finally have a couple of impact star players aged 18-21. Better trade one of them for a top 5 picks in the hopes that we'll end up with... an impact star player...

Bad team because we have one line that's a real threat and there's only two players on the team that are around his talent level offensively.

Basically, he'd probably be EVEN better if he was on some of the powerhouse teams.

I'd still be weary about trading him for someone who has played 0 minutes in the NHL...

Or he wouldn't get as much quality playing time and not produce. Always hard to predict what players would do on other teams.
