TSN beat SureLoss?? Getting slow there bud.

Thank god Flames did not trade for him especially for a 2nd rounder. Hope he plays the way he play for Buffalo in Minny.

Wouldn't the team phone the players before notifying TSN etc?
Seems so odd when they have the news before the player.

Also literally a few seconds after the panel had been talking about his negative attributes. Awkward.

They're a bad team getting another asset for a UFA. It was a good trade for them. Definitely smarter than holding onto him for no reason at all.

Joe McDonald @ESPNJoeyMac
Buffalo will retain half of Stewart's contract.

Unfortunately, this is a great deal for the Wild.
What's the present value of a second round pick 3 drafts from now?
A 4th, maybe?

We'll see if it was worth it, but Stewart appears to have gone the way of Rene Bourque.

Dreger saying that Murray basically had to go to Fletcher and beg him to take Stewart off his hands:

If that's the case, why give him a relatively valuable 2nd round pick?

Stewart was a healthy scratch this season. Tim Murray is an idiot for overplaying his hand. Chuck Fletcher was an even bigger idiot giving him a second rounder for Stewart. I don't care if it's in 2017.
