My favorite was about 7 years ago...TSN showing the Leafs war room all gathered around the TV watching themselves gathered around the TV on TSN.
It just exemplified how absolutely absurd deadline day coverage had gotten.

Giving up Duclair and a first like Mckenzie is speculating is a lot given that the Rangers blue line is already deep. Not sure why they'd do this.

I have a feeling we continue to see a crazy number of trades.
No really dominant teams (Kane's injury evens the playing field), a large number of teams that think they have a chance to go deep, and a number of teams willing to sell.
Just might be a perfect year for trades.

In regards to the T.V extravaganza on deadline day, social media absolutely slaughtered the day itself. The biggest deadline days were before the days of twitter. TSN and SN really need to change the Format. But it is an easy day for them to just sit around and shoot the sheet.

Yeah, the d**k measuring contest trade deadline day has become between networks is silly. I recall it being slow when it started around 9am MT, and nothing AT ALL happened (Andre Roy from TB to Ott) until about 1.5h later.
It starts at 6am MT tomorrow.
