He was great last night. Another performance like that and the Flames can win if they actually generate some offense and score goals. Every loss added to this losing streak puts a massive dent in the Flames playoff chances as it puts critical pressure to win the next game which is not guaranteed when a team is slumping. I don't think it's overreacting to say if they come out of NY without a win the season is likely over barring a monumental winning streak.

Flames really need this win to stay in the playoff mix. If they lose, that will be 4 in a row, on the road and then facing the Islanders next.

Traditionally it's the number one starters who takes back to backs and for them fatigue is a bigger issue than for someone like Rämö who hasn't played much.

After looking into it further, it seems to be a relatively new phenomenon. Maybe a blip in the days due to sample size?

Good job with the GDT handgroen!
Well..... if we lose tonight then we lose this segment. Our record this segment so far is 1-3.
Although Hiller has been solid in a lot of games, I don't know what it is but for some reason I'm way more comfortable when Ramo plays. Maybe this is the same reason the Ducks pushed Hiller out of their depth chart.
Also, our puck possession game has been pretty bad lately. This chip and chase is driving me nuts.
C'mon boys!

In all fairness to Ramo, not only did he play stellar, but he hasn't played that much lately. I doubt fatigue will be an issue for him.

In addition to being more rested than Hiller, Ramo seems to flourish under a heavier workload as well.

Ramo will be fine as long as he doesn't dive out of the net when a guy is coming at him one on one...seriously what was he thinking? (the play when Wideman saved the day)

Wideman pretty much made up for his mistake on the lone goal last night.

I was perusing around HF boards and came across this beauty.
Someone went to great efforts to create this. I like that his butt fits perfectly in the flaming C.

I have a really good feeling about this game. I'll be honest, I usually go into games expecting to lose... Don't ask why, but I rarely get good feelings about games, but this one is different and I'm not sure why...
Going to make a really bold prediction here... 7-0 Flames. I don't know why, but I feel like we're due for a big blow out win.

Flames offense has really dried up. They need to get puck behind the net more frequently in both the first and second periods if they're gonna stay in the race.

Agreed. We've been shutout 3 times in our last 12 games. That is not a good trend.

Game 2 for us here on the first 4 games of the Flames' Eastern road trip.
We'll be cheering harder than last night at the Prudential Center and we'll add 2 buddies to this leg, hoping to propel The Flames to a win.
Go Flames Go!

Rambo was out taking shots first thing this morning at an optional practice. He is on a mission and won't be giving up the crease without a fight.
