So we're not expecting Poirier or Ferland to get into this game?

Hartley typically let's call ups sit one game in press box before inserting into lineup if he has an option. And congrats Cali, will miss your pre game write ups.

Would be great to start the trip off with a bang, and two big points.
Also, not that I'm encouraging another come from behind win, but if we need OT or SO to get a second point in any of these games it doesn't matter, as they are all Eastern, so let's do this! All about grinding out the wins now, however we get em.

Congrats Cali... awesome news. Best wishes forsure!
For the game... I don't know... I kinda feel like this will be just one of those weird games where the Flames win 4-1. Completely goes against conventional thinking that the Rangers won't give up too many goals, they should score a few etc. Just a minor hunch... regardless I will be trying to get home asap from work today to watch the game. GFG!

doesn't sound like Poirier or Ferland will play tonight:
Roger Millions @RogMillions
#Flames Bob Hartley says he likes what Ferland and Poirier bring. Not sure they will play vs #Rangers
edit: unless that last sentence is Roger's opinion

I'm okay with that, give Poirier and Ferland some time to get used to the team/system again.
Ideally I'd like to see them either against the Devils/Islanders.

Congrats CFF. Mrs. TF and I are expecting our second in the middle of April. Pretty much right around our last game of the regular season/first playoff game.
Thanks for your hard work CFF. We all appreciate it.

Congrats Cali and thank you for the informative write ups. You will be missed throughout this road trip. I'd like to call these babies "baby flames" but that's been spoken for (Addy). Maybe.. CP Babies?

Aaron Vickers @AAVickers
#Flames lines this AM:
Gaudreau-Monahan-Hudler;
Bouma-Backlund-Jones;
Glencross-Colborne-Jooris;
Bollig-Granlund-Raymond
Aaron Vickers @AAVickers
Doesn't look, at least from these lines, that Poirier and Ferland are in. We will find out though. #Flames

3 decent lines. Granlund will have his hands full covering for the other two guys in his own end. Raymond's been hot, but he's not a great defensive player and Bollig is Bollig.
Going off the stats discussion elsewhere, good to see Colborne with two guys who will shoot from anywhere - Colborne digs or carries, Jooris or Glencross shoots.

This road trip is pretty much make or break. Hoping for a huge 2 points tonight to get our confidence going again. I'm going with a 4-1 win tonight for the good guys. what would be a successful road trip? Anything north of 3 wins with a couple loser points thrown in there.
I think they"ll go 4-2-1.
