Skip Bayless says that Manny will knockout Mayweather. I'm not sure I agree with him, but it does make me think the fight could be a little better than I expect. Some of this from Roach sounds a lot like Mike Tyson when he said "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth", but I always liked Roach.

Skip has a pretty nice gig, he's a paid troll. Cowboys fan, big Tebow and Manziel supporter just to show you he's only there to troll.

I think Mayweather wins in a snoozer, fight should've happened years ago. So stupid that it took this long, this is why boxing has fallen the way it has.

Was dying for this fight to happen years ago, but it's been so long that I don't know if I'll even watch this one, the hype is just gone for me at this point.

I can't wait for this fight. I just hope the judges will be partial on this when the fight goes all the way and fighter wins by a decision. I hate to say this but fighting in Nevada and maybe with bunch of American judges, we'll probably know the outcome of it no matter who is ahead in the fight. It'll be unanimous decision for Mayweather. So Pacman needs to knock him out fast. We've seen it happenned on an unknown Bradley winning a controversial decision over Pacquiao. How do you think the judges will decides on a well-known American boxer like Mayweather? I think win or lose, Pacquiao should hang up his gloves after this fight because no one else to fight with.

Floyd was a lot more civil than I expected.

Anyway I'm looking forward to the fight. I'll be in Vegas on May 2. Probably can't afford live tickets ($1,500-$7,500 according to the press conference), but we're happy settling with closed circuit.

There might be around 500 tickets for the public but even then I don't see it. Public has almost no shot of getting face value tickets to the fight.. But if you drop say $50-60,000 in the casino that week, you can probably have tickets to the fight.

I saw the press conference and no hate relationship on those two. They both looked very comfortable and why not? No pressures on both and nothing to lose but pride. They are both making big bucks that they'll be able retire after the fight. Mayweather is laughing at the bank now and he knows one or another he'll be ahead. If Pacquiao beat him he'll make more money as he will demand a rematch. If he beat Pacquiao, he'll prove what is he saying all along that he is the best fighter in the world. So he's in a win-win situations. Heck, Pacman even spent $11M already by purchasing Jennifer Lopez old place in Beverly Hills. Win or lose i really think Pacquiao should retire. He's got nothing to prove anymore and he should just enjoy what he earned while he can.

I can't say that I really follow boxing, but even I know this fight should have happened 5 years ago.

Hopefully this fight revitalizes boxing. MMA is too violent for my liking.

So I said $40 million gate in the OP...yeah, how about $74 million?

This is mind-blowing: Arum said they've configured MGM for #MayweatherPacquiao & gate will now be - hold on to your hat - about $74M! Whoa!
So the gate alone on this fight is almost richer than every PPV ever. With the closed circuit revenue in Vegas that's gotta be almost $80 million alone. And I still think they left a lot on the table not fighting earlier so I don't even wanna know what a 2010 fight could have generated.

The whole buildup has been a disaster. Almost wondering if we aren't all getting trolled...

Tickets went on sale at 4. Live seats sold out in 1 min. I managed to land a couple closed circuit tickets at Mandalay Bay.

And apparently Vegas is completely booked for the weekend. We booked our hotel tickets a while back so we're good.

Hate Mayweather. My guess is he was trying to avoid this fight while Paquiao was at his peak. Don't care much for boxing anymore but I do hope to see Mayweather loose this fight.

We will be there untill the Saturday, will be avoiding the entire strip by Thursday, it is gonna be nuts. I'd like to hear about the closed circuit event after.
