The worst part is they mashed 3 different styles onto the jersey.
If they used the 3rd numbering/lettering and coloring it would probably look better.

That's because none of them are. It's AHL Flames staff, not players.
The guy wearing the "C" should be the tallest one of that group by a good 4 inches and the guy in front wearing #3 couldn't grow facial hair like that if you gave him a 5 year head start.

Except for the retros our 3rds have been pretty awful. This hammers home the point.
It shouldn't be so hard. More than half of the ones done on this site and others by amateurs (mostly) have been far better. I don't understand how the organization screws this up so often

So funny thing: Taylor Vause (a guy who has an AHL contract and spends time between the Flames and Eagles) is actually a jersey graphic designer. He created the Colorado Eagles 3rd jersey for St. Patrick's Day and it's not horrible.
Maybe they should just let him do all the designing for the team.

Who designs our jerseys? They should be canned immediately and replaced with a different 12 year old. They introduce them by having the players try them on standing by someone's desk? Was the locker room being fumigated or something? They couldn't have slipped them on after a practice and pose for a picture? It all just looks bush league to me. Sorry Flames...

^Players aren't wearing them. It's front office staff for the AHL Flames. The Flames are currently in Oklahoma and not in their own rink.

I hate that by just looking at our thirds and this atrocious iteration of it actually makes me kind of angry and ashamed. I understand it's a subjective topic, but I simply do not understand its appeal.
