The title thread is deceiving. Nystrom did not destroy anyone. It was a normal hit that happen to hurt a guy more than usual.

Coach Jack Capuano said he didn’t have an update on his status, but was declarative about a possible timeline for return.

“I’m sure he’s going to be out for a while,” Capuano said.

There was no penalty for the hit, and Capuano said he didn’t get a clean look at it live, but wasn’t too bothered by the no-call. “Referee explained that he hit him through the middle of his body,”

Kind of odd for an experienced player like Grabovski to be caught puckwatching like that. Nystrom was essentially straight in front of him and Grabovski just skated into him. Terrible situation awareness.

Clean hit 100% and I'm usually the guy calling for suspensions. Wasn't ready for the hit at all and he got caught about as clean as possible
