Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Rask in net for Boston, he's first off the ice. Ramo goes for the #Flames.

Looks like the Subban recall is for Edmonton.

Makes sense as it's a good test for a backup in that he should be expected to win against the worst team in the league. Bruins owe the Flames after handing the Canucks two points on a silver platter.

What do we get out of it? The Oilers get an AHL goalie and we have to play against the damned Vezina winner.

Boston Bruins @NHLBruins
Julien confirmed that Malcolm Subban is expected to join the team on this trip, but it won't be tonight in Calgary ^CS

Interesting recall. Have to think the Bruins are showcasing Subban.

Great pics, as always, but that picture of Jones losing his lid halfway down deserves additional praise.

There is a look of amazement/excitement/fear throughout the crowd, and then there's just that one lady - unfazed and determined, Facebooking or doing some other terrible thing that you should never do during a hockey game. Her poor kid looks terrified.

I wouldnt look into it much. They sent Svedberg down for conditioning a few weeks back as Rask was playing every game. Subban didnt get a game during his last call up - they just needed a backup dressed. With the Bruins clawing to stay in the playoff race, they will be riding Rask as much as possible.

Would pay good money to see Johnny go through his legs.

Yeah, that should be a no-brainer for the Flames organization to do.

Will be heading to the game tonight and will definitely be torn. As a die-hard Bruins fan since the age of 4, I was beginning to believe I would never see them win a cup in my lifetime. Of course, when that happened in '11 I was ecstatic but I was surprised how my love for the B's and hockey in general took a nosedive after that. It was like I had reached a goal and could take some time off. I still hate the Habs and enjoy watching the Bruins casually - but it's the Flames that have begun to capture my love for an underdog and hope for the unimaginable. I'll be wearing the spoked B tonight but it will be hard not to jump and yell if/when Calgary scores. Here's hoping for a game where both teams get some needed points, everyone leaves healthy and who knows - we meet again in a few months...??

4-3 in a shootout. For the goodguys.

Really hoping for no goals against in the first or last 2 minutes of any period.

I was a hardcore Bruins fan for 2 weeks in June 2011, and I enjoy watching the B's slap the Habs around, but how can you hope they beat your hometown team?!

Live in Calgary, cheer for the Flames!

Any ideas for finding the game in Nelson? I suspect the 'Nucks game will be an issue...

Born and raised in NL - I had 20+ years of no hometown team to get me entrenched in Black & Gold. Like I said tho - the Flaming C is starting to win me over!
