My lady is also non a believer of Valentines, which is great because her birthday is the following week.
That said, I know she likes new, sexy underwear and so I oblige on that. That's a gift for us both though.

I got "Error establishing a database connection" so it looks like this year will be a free coupon for 1 hour of database administration services, totally within my skill set!
Actually I'd like to make her a nice meal, she's a vegetarian so not sure what I should do.

One year my spouse hid chocolates in various places so I would find them getting ready for work in the morning. i.e., one in the sock drawer, one beside my toothbrush, one in the cereal cupboard, one at the breakfast table etc. I thought it was quite sweet.

Hilariously though, my cousin wrote something about how the movie was glamourizing rape culture. I almost unfriended her. I'm pretty sure that it's S&M and it's quite consentual.

Of course flowers, chocolate, jewelry and a nice meal out.
That is the very least I can do for such an incredible woman.

I know it's contrived and all that, but I still partake. I won't do the dinner and flowers and all that because it's a a gong show. That said I definitely always do something. I guess I look at it as an excuse to show that you care and there are much worse things I the world.

GF is a nurse working a night shift tomorrow night so we'll go for a nice breakfast/brunch Saturday. Will show up (after the Flames game) and give her some Valentines surprise gifts.
Hate Valentines day. Such a stupid holiday.

Well it's certainly stupid, and certainly not a holiday. Easter is a holiday, Valentines is consumerism at it's finest.
