Yeah that Seems like lots.
Kane is pretty equal to Myers IMO, at most would be Myers+First.
Is Bogosian worth Armia + Lemieux
Maybe not as bad when you break it down like that.
Edit: forgot about Stafford. Still feels like too much, that is a better package then Seguin returned. Feel like it will be Armia or Lemieux not both.

It's gotta be the St. Louis 1st. Jets have quite the defense now (when healthy) if this trade happens.

I'm not hugely knowledgable on the winnipeg depth chart, but isn't Bogosian one of their top pairing dmen?

I forgot the Sabres had other 1st rounders.
Still, way too much to give. That deal, combined with Winnipeg's excellent prospect base, would really set them up for the future.

Wow, jets do well if that is close to true. Not a big fan of Stafford, but I like Myers, Armia and Lemieux are decent prospects and a first is a great haul. Equivalent to 4 firsts?

Bogosian has been struggling this year.

It helps immensely because Kane is done for the season so they would be getting Myers and Stafford for Bogosian.

Jets win this due to the fact that Kane is likely no more than a 20-25g, 45-50p guy moving forward (while missing 10+ games/season). That's a whole lot to give up for a guy that produces at a rate less than a Jiri Hudler.

Nope. He's fallen back over the past couple of seasons.
He's usually in their top-4, but even then he's fourth-choice. Buff, Enstrom and Trouba are all better, and to an extent Harrison, Postma and Chiarot have outperformed him at times this year.

Jets giving up another player too
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
1st round pick Jets acquire will be lowest of 3 of the Sabres picks. Very complicated trade. Sounds like an unsigned player from Peg as well

Sounds like Burmastrov going back to Buffalo too.
Burmastrov, Kane, Bogosian for Myers, Stafford, Armia, Lemieux and a first makes more sense.
Still really like it for Winnipeg though. Stafford, Armia, and Myers may step into that lineup and help right away.

No, Kane is currently a 20-25G, 45-50P guy (at least he could be if he stayed healthy). Sabres are banking on him hitting his potential, which is a gamble at this point, but they have a deep prospect pool and I guess they can afford to take the risk.
I wouldn't want Calgary to take the risk, but I can see the appeal.

Surprised people calling this a clear win for the Jets.
Really for me the winner will be decided by which of Myers or Kane figures things out. Bogosian is a wild card in there too as if he hits his upside, that will tip things in favor of Buffalo.
I'm not big on Myers. I don't think he's going to rebound to his previous form.
And the rest of the deal is just a bunch of stuff.
Stafford: Inconsistent at best. Been a long time since he scored 30. 9 goals this year. Meh.
Lemieux: interesting prospect but probably tops out as a 3rd liner
Armia: I question if he can translate his offense to the NHL and if he can't - he won't be an NHLer.
So again - comes down to Kane/Myers and which ones gets their career back on a positive trajectory.

Tyler Myers simply isn't that good. 4-9--13 so far this year. Nine goals last year, three the year before. He had a very good rookie season, but has consistently regressed since. Playing with NHL talent will help, but I find it difficult to see him making a significant difference for the Jets.
I would put Kane as being worth far more than Myers and the First.

With Burmistrov, the trade evens out more.
Have not seen a trade like that in ages. Harps back to the pre-cap era.

So mcdavid or eichel + the rest of your future for an attitude? Buffalo is aware that tanking involves holding onto that pick, right?
