Scratch Jooris over Byron and Wolf? Why.. Jooris does everything that Byron does, in addition to being more of an offensive threat. Not to mention he's one of two rookies on a rebuilding team.

I didn't want to vote Byron, but Raymond and a lot,of not all players, are playing well. I guess I could have gone Jooris, but I like his presence on the 4th line.

Interesting you say that. Last 5 games
Oilers - Goal
Jets - Assist
Sharks - Assist
Pens - Everyone on the Flames were shutout
Sharks - Missed the game

I voted Wolf and Byron. LA is a big team and I think we need Bollig size. Wolf needs to work on some things.

Also went with Bollig and Byron, but it is a tough decision. I think one of Wolf and Bollig are needed in the line up against LA, so Byron draws the short straw. Pun intended.

I picked Byron and Bollig for the next game based on the lineup throughout had a great game vs SJ and so should be rewarded. But going forward I would say a rotation helps everyone. Vs Boston swap in Bollig and Byron and take out Wolf and Jooris (or if someone makes it obvious with a rough game then pick them).

They played one of their best games of the season against the Shorks. Nothing against Byron, I just want to see that same lineup again.

Realistically you don't take Byron's spot away for being sick.

Honestly, we just need to make a trade. Nobody deserves to be benched or sent to the AHL right now.

For me, any one of Bollig, Wolf, Jooris or Byron could sit at any time and not effect the team negatively. Maybe a rotation of those guy until someone gets hurt or sent down.

Jooris production has dropped off big time over his last 20 games and Byron is a better penalty killer and the team's fastest player.

This.
Depth NHLers for defence and RW prospects.

I'd like to see how Bollig plays after Wolf has shown the potential to replace Bollig. My thought is that Bollig might see his roster spot as being threatened and will come out hard and physical.

I went with Bollig and Byron just because of the last game. Not very sure of it though. Bollig played well against the Kings. I think size helps against the Kings so that's why I picked Byron.
Jooris was been pretty under the radar the last few games. I considered him a lot.
Colborne and Jones have been darn good. You don't want to disrupt Raymond's hot streak. Stajan is necessary to stabilize whoever is on the 4th line, especially Wolf or Bollig.
If it was only performance based, Glencross didn't have a strong game, but itw as his first back, and I expect he'll be better. As much as Wolf's first period was great, he flagged down the stretch, and he gievs less minutes than even Bollig. But he didn't play himself out of the lineup so I'd give him another game.
Basically you have to scratch either Bollig or Wolf, and Byron or Jooris. Jooris can take draws and is almost as fast and forechecky as Byron, plus he played in the last win.

Yeah adding to that, over those four games he played:
10 hits, 4 takeaways, 5 shots.
I know somebody has to sit, I just don't think Byron should lose his spot because he got sick. Normally I would have been all for Raymond sitting but he really did play well last game. I would also like to see Wolf again, but looking at it he is probably the easiest to scratch.
Stajan has 1 assist in his last 12 games and has not looked very good at all. Maybe a benching at this point would light a fire under him.

I voted Stajan and Wolf. Stajan has not been doing much lately. And Bollig is more efficient than Wolf...

Byron I want in for this game for his puck pressure and ability to disrupt. Looking over the other forwards, I see Raymond coming into form, Stajan being dependable as always, and Colborne and Jones playing well. That makes Jooris a victim of the numbers game. He hasn't been horrible, but I am in favour of using the depth the team has to take young guys out of the lineup to observe and refresh. it is going to be a tough run home with all the teams fighting for points, and the younger guys aren't used to a full NHL season being competitive right down the stretch.
So my scratches are Wolf and Jooris, though Jooris was VERY hard to leave out.

I voted Wolf and Byron... but your post makes good sense and if I could I would change my votes to Wolf and Jooris.

The Kings came into last game angry, looking to run the Flames out of the building physically. Borderline running our guys. We beat them with our speed and determination. While I can see how some people feel we need to dress a bigger lineup against them, I think the opposite. Add speed and skill. Therefore scratch Bollig and Wolf.
The Kings are going to be right pissed tomorrow night and we need to play cat and mouse as opposed to trying to match them physically IMO because we will lose that battle no matter what.
But I'll bet you both Bollig and Wolf draw in, and I will eat my words because Hartley knows what he's doing and I don't.
