They have just been beating on this "historic game" nonsense in the Oilers v Isles game and post-game show.
I mean come on, every team in the league is going to have a last game in that old rink. What makes the Oilers game so "historic"?
If they had actually won the game, that would have been more noteworthy than the final visit to Nassau.
Is it just a weak sales pitch to try to make an Oilers game sound important?
