I like this!!

We now have 4 lines that are a threat to score. I hope we do well the next couple of games and then perhaps we can look forward to Bollig being a semi-permanent scratch?

Seems like Vlasic is unlikely to play on Monday. Good news for the Flames.

I like the look of those lines. If they plan on using stajan and glencross to help share the load against top players, it should help free up Monohan, gaudreau, hudler, and backlund to go on more offence.

Rather Colborne-Raymond stick together, they have some good chemistry, and adding Byron on Stajan's line makes that a really good checking line with some offensive potential, but w/e really

I like the lineup minus Bollig as can see Backlund and Stajan's line as a defensive zone draws but still able to generate some offense leaving Monahan to get prime offensive starts. Glencross and Stajan together are adding some offense. Maybe flip Byron for Raymond as ThatsRobbery suggested.

Hiller's game seems to decline when over-played. Was hoping Ramo would start against the Sharks.

Really wanted Ramo to get a start... Think it's pretty unfair he isn't getting one for the next game.

It's neither fair nor unfair; it's just the reality of being a goaltender. Taking Hiller out would be just as unfair, considering possession felt like it was 90-10 Pens the last game, and the Flames were shut out.

You can't exactly point fingers at Hiller when Crosby gets to stroll into scoring areas several times in a game.

Although I wouldn't have had any problems with Ramo drawing in. He shut out San Jose last time he played there.

Well, the unfairness is that you sit him so long that his two first games back are warm up. You have him some action last game, by the third period in SJ, he might be back completely.

See it pretty clear in Ramo that he needs starts. He's not Hiller who doesn't need to react

Maybe Hartley sees something missing in Ramo in practice. Or maybe it's a message to the team that Hiller wasn't at fault last game. Mostly I think Hartley puts in who he thinks is the best shot at winning.

I imagine management would rather Ramo gets showcased a bit but it's their roster and Hartley's lineup.

It's the same Ramo who pitched back to back SO's earlier this season. Hartley and his Hiller love.

maybe he is waiting for a slightly less crucial game to throw Ramo back in after 8 weeks off

why do people criticize every single goalie start?

Hartley has been doing a great job in putting what goalie should start. This is the first time this season where I am confused on why Hiller gets the start over Ramo. He lost last game, and although it was all Crosby, he still lost. Plus, Ramo has been playing lights out against San Jose this year. These games aren't going to get any easier, so I thought it'd make sense for Ramo to start Monday. If he loses, he loses and Hiller goes back in. If he wins, we've got another hot goalie to ride.
