You would think Evander Kane would look pretty good on Sydney Crosby's wing...

Maybe the Jets should make a trade for Crosby.

We don't need players that are a net detriment, even if the price is low. That's why it really didn't matter what we got back for Dion.

I said yes, buy low sell high. Flip him if he does prove to be a cancer, but I'd still give him a shot as his skill set would fit the flames.

Doesn't fill a need and isn't close to the player he was projected to be. Other #### aside there's no reason to trade for him.

Depends on the price, but if he could be had for a package of lesser assets, then I'd take him for sure.

He's an excellent hockey player, and I'd have no qualms at all about letting Hartley throw him into a burlap sack and beat him with a curtain rod if he misbehaved. Scratch him, send him to the AHL, toll his contract if he tries to bail, whatever it takes.

The potential downside is having to eat some of his contract, either retained in a trade, or by burying him. Him causing a problem on the team shouldn't be a concern if you're willing to deep-six him and he knows it.

The potential upside is that he could be one of the top wingers in the NHL if he sorts his **** out. He's an amazing athlete, and a tremendous hockey player. He just needs an organization to teach him how to be a good teammate. That may never happen, but Calgary is as likely to do it as anyone else.

Of course, that's easy for me to say when it's not my money that would be sitting on the bench in the AHL if he doesn't toe the line.

Yeah a top 6 forward reportedly quits on a team after being pranked/sent a message in the middle of a playoff push.

Not a disruption/distraction at all.

Is this a serious question?

Evander should probably brush up on his Russian.

I would do it if the cost was low. I would have to think even with his distractions Jets get a good return at the draft. So I guess my answer is no because I don't want the flames to pay what it cost to attain him.

No. Nobody on here has played hockey. Nobody knows how chemistry can affect a dressing room.

If im playing NHL15, absolutely.

In real life, no thanks.

I think a lot of calgary's success is due to chemistry, etc.
