And the Oilers are currently up on San Jose (barely into the 2nd mind you).

Bizarre. That's twice now that ive seen us against the Jets and been seriously unimpressed by them. But, I've seen them on several other occasions giving the Hawks the run around in their own building. Strange team.

Winnipeg coming back down to earth?
Honestly I was pretty impressed with them through the first 40. Maurice has them playing to their strengths.
Feels great to beat 'em!

Man, it must suck to be Hartley. Right now he's got more guys playing well than he can play. And he's got Glencross coming back.

Hiller was very good tonight. Nice and solid. Aside from the little lull after the 4th goal, the Flames played decently in front of him.
Nice to see depth scoring, and Colborne sure turned it up in the third. He may be a late bloomer but destined for a permanent top 6 position. Thought Gio's 500th was a strong game (how many does he have if he didn't have to go to Russia?)
Good night for whipping boys except for poor old Byron.

That was a good game for the Flames aside from the early goal against. Third period was third period, making that as solid of a game you can get against a team you're battling against to make the playoffs.

Heard today that Maurice is second among coaches in NHL history to win his 300th game the fastest after Scotty Bowman I think. That's pretty impressive.

The Flames growing stonger as the game goes on is going to put some fear into their plaoff opponents hearts if they do make it. Scary.

Playoff type game, no need to come from behind tonight. Huge win.
Gaudreau now throwing bodychecks lol! I hear the kid can scrap too, that's why McGrattan is in the AHL lol.
Seriously though, good team game tonight.
Paul Byron though?????????? We need to get him a hooker or something, guys gotta score sooner or later right? I mean Bollig scored tonight? Bollig?
