The Ducks and Jets were shot down last night. The Ducks were actually bitten to shreds by the Sharks. The Sharkies scored 5 goals in the 2nd period as Anaheim's defense was brutal with all the 2 on 1s they allowed and Bryzgalov in net didn't help matters. Sharks won 6-3. The Jets have lost 2 in a row as they lose to the Flyers 4-2. The Bruins are 7-1-2 in their past 10 games and keep climbing the standings as they beat the Isles 5-2. Tukka Rask was awesome in net as he faced 45 shots. The Habs win 1-0 over the Rangers with Price getting the SHUTOUT facing 24 shots. The Lightning crush Detroit 5-1 and all the scoring was done in the 1st and 2nd period. Mrazek was pulled as he let in all 5 goals, McCollum played in the 3rd period. Paquette with a SHG to complete the hattrick. The Stars win 6-3 over the Senators in Spezza's return to Ottawa. Dallas goes up 3-0, the Sens eventually come back to tie it in the 3rd period and then the Stars score 3 more goals. The last 2 were empty net SH goals and 3 points for Daley. The Blues win a wild one over the Predators in the SO 5-4. Fisher with 3 points. The who cares games had the Panthers beating the BJs 3-2 in reg time, same thing for the Oilers over the Sabres, and the Coyotes maul the Leafs 3-1. The long distance goal Bernier let was hilarious but he is the only reason the score wasn't lopsided. The Leafs were outshot 45-25 and 21-6 in the 2nd period. Bernier and the coaches must be ready to burst and get out of town.
