Born in Calgary. Moved to Edmonton was I was about 7. Only time I visit Calgary(3-4 times a year)is usually just to go to flames games. I know how to get to the dome and McLeod trail and not much else lol.

Date weekend went great. Thanks for all the suggestions and ideas. The drive on Friday night was slow going with the storm in Edmonton. Didn't get to Calgary till pretty late about 11:30. So both of us felt pretty lazy on Saturday which I didn't mind much. Lead to a lot of uh alone time in the hotel. Did manage to check out downtown and head to the Calgary tower for lunch for a few hours.
The game was awesome. Huge comeback for the boys and always enjoy beating the oilers especially living up here. Of course had all the buddies and friends texting us during the first two periods. They were pretty quiet after the game though. Hoping next time we can check out a few more of the suggestions but overall a great weekend.
