If you are a Russian or a Finn, would you cheer for the "Rest of the World" team with maybe only 4 players from you country in it?

This may work if it is the Canadian team doing a tour of the different countries against their national teams...

If you're a German, do you cheer for the European Rider Cup teams when there is only one (often no) German player on it?

The only Americans that would make our team are:

Kane
Quick
maybe Bishop (for 3rd goalie behind Price)
and maybe Eichel or Jones by 2018

The difference between Kane and Canada's 12th best forward is minimal; I'd certainly take Quick over Price, but again pretty minimal difference.

The problem I would see is having to take some more unworthy American players to satisfy politics...so IMO Canada vs. the world would be better.
