4-2 Jets empty netter and perhaps one of the biggest Jets 2.0 wins I can remember. Back to back in Chicago and pulling to within 2 points of 2nd and 3rd in the division.

Also, #### you Chicago and Carcillo for probably breaking Perraults arm in a dirty cross check from behind.

Whilst I'll always hold out hope that the Flames make the play offs, is we lose out to the Jets, I won't be at all bothered. Only caught the 3rd period, but man did they play well. Can't wait to watch play off hockey in the MTS Centre.

Carcillo is a piece of trash who has no business being in the NHL. He's already been suspended at least twice. I hope the NHL throws the book at him.

5 games in 7 days for the Jets? Yikes.

Jets are in a groove. Didn't think they'd be doing this well at this point of the season, but kudos to them. Pretty impressive.

Carcillo should get 10 games for that. Nothing but intent to injure.

Trust me on this though, the jets are streaking/peaking too early. They're in a groove currently but the team doesn't have the guns to keep their heads above water when they come falling back to earth. Would be better for their chances if they went on the tear in February/March. The other better built teams will step it up another notch down the stretch after the Jets finish their streak. Which simultaneously will put our hopes in jeopardy. Which is why we need to pray L.A. doesn't break out of their funk.

I don't think they've been streaky though. Ever since the Calgary game in Winnipeg early when they got off to a really bad start they've played very consistently like this. They play with the lead a lot, they have fancy stats in the top half of the league, and are getting great coaching and finally NHL level goaltending.

Sorry, but from this thread I was expecting to see something much worse than what I saw in the Carcillo clip.

it was clear he meant to chop the guy, but I don't see that as suspension worthy in light of Matt Cooke getting off scott free for the cross check to the face.

The Ducks keep on flying as they beat the Devils 5-1. Schneider appears to be injured and left the game after the first period when it was 1-1. From then on, the Ducks went on a shooting gallery and fired 25 shots on the back up goalie, Kincaid. Jacob Sifverberg scored two goals.

All that lost time with Noel behind the bench.
