Having delivered pizzas for a while way back when I was 19-20, I can tell you most of the customers were awesome. There was some of "Hey, you're the food guy, you come on in and party! Don't worry booze is on us." Go back after the shift and they always held true to their word. Or, "That's horrible weather out there, here's $5 tip on $15. Thanks." Heck, one family even offered me a hot chocolate on a cold night. Creepy, but nice of them.
It was the crappy ones that you HAD to do that made your night miserable. Some would be just annoying. They may laugh at you because it's -25C out there, dangerous roads, and "Haha! I would hate to be out there tonight!" Or "Wow, I just can't imagine having to deliver pizza..?" And, of course, no tip.
I also delivered when the motto "33 or free!" was in full force. It ended some years later due to lawsuits. During delivery there were a few that had similar scenarios to:
1) Pizza order
2) Check address and head out
3) Get on the street and it's dark out so you can't see the numbers on the houses
4) Find one house with numbers and count until you get to what you think is the one you want
5) Leave the car, find the numbers and verify
6) No lights on. Hmmm, go ring doorbell. No answer. Knock on door, no answer.
7) Go back and verify the house number (the address is on the pizza box)
8) Go back to door, bang on the door, kick it. No movement, no lights, no answer.
9) Check physical address AGAIN. Back to door, hammer on the door.
10) Someone answers! "Hi, here's your pizza!" Make sure to smile, I'm working for a tip, but something tells me I'm wasting my time.
11) They are holding a STOPWATCH. It shows 34 minutes 10 seconds. They say, "Pizzas are FREE!" "Uh no, I've been here for at least a few minutes maybe even 5. You had the lights out, refused to answer, I've been pounding on your door, ringing the doorbell, no way." "Yes! You have to give it to us, you say 33 or free in your ads! We want the pizza for free."
12) Fine, but I can't give it for free, you have to get the manager to do so. Money doesn't come out of my pocket, but the stores. I lose out on the delivery fee though, I tell them. Maybe I'll get some sympathy?
13) Phone manager. Tell him about lights out, hiding, doorbell, knocking, etc. You think he backs me up? Hah! Give it to them.
14) Now that they have it for free, is there a tip coming? Hahaha! They always smiled and giggled or laughed when I left.
This scenario was more common than you think, one every couple of nights. You would blacklist addresses, but others would start, making up for it. Only a few times did they want me to go back with coupons because it's winter and by then the pizza was cold. And I don't get delivery fee for those coupons either, so I lose out for like 1.5 hours of deliveries, making much less money. Sounds like that's what the delivery driver in the OP video is really mad about, you're taking money from him, he's not getting paid while you're screwing around over $7 that you hinted was a tip.
I don't recall being threatened with a foot in the ass or anything, but the derogatory comments were always there, you just ate it hoping for some sort of tip (which rarely happened when dealing with people like that). Some people are just jerks and nothing more.
Now, if the customer didn't do all that, and the pizza was truly late, I'd tell them. Phone the store, manager would ok it, and then I'd end up with a huge tip (usually half the cost of the pizza) for getting them free pizza.

Who cares about the $1.50 delivery fee then? The managers didn't care, because those that we treated that way would always order pizza from us from then on. Some would even ask for specific drivers.
