I am looking forward to seeing Colborne with Gaudreau. Colborne works hard and goes to the net so he should provide some opportunity for nice passes from Johnny. Go Ortio! I hope the guys play hard in front of him and give the kid a chance.

Can only speak for me, of course, but I'm hoping Ortio shows something worthwhile that the coaches eventually have to recognize and reward. Hiller has brought stability of a sort, but I just don't trust him long-term, given his penchant for ill-timed bad goals against, and his overall "just be big" style.

Yeah.. Hard to argue with that.. I was thinking they'd maybe give him a chance to redeem himself. All I hope is that Ortio is ready. Best case scenario, he makes one of our goalies expendable.

I saw Ortio play for Abbotsford back in 2011 and he was so totally impressive. I think he saved over 40 shots that night- the kid has huge potential. Hope his nerves don't get the best of him.
