Can he get a travel trailer? If yes, the Alto Safari Condos are pretty sweet (http://www.safaricondo.com/en/caravanes_R1713). It is a trailer that I would love to buy but unfortunately they are only sold our in Quebec.
That's probably too small for him (and he doesnt have a car to tow with anymore), but thats pretty neat actually.
