Just updated my app, layout seems to be a bit more effective. Couldn't of gotten worse than before

Loving the fact I have not updated my iPad in 2 years.... hating the fact my iPhone has automatic app updates and I've been too lazy to turn it off.

It's a very minor improvement. At least I can find the "participated" threads list. The worst is still not having a good tree-view of the forums and subforums. Right now, the size of text and images gives you the visibility of about 2 threads/forums.

Space could be saved by minimizing the size or removing the name of the Poster when looking at the forums list.

Really all that's needed is a Windows Explorer for forums. I wonder how much of a job this is. Maybe contract out one of the local iOS/android developer companies. Could probably sell a good app for $2 or $3 bucks and capture all of the disenchanted Tapatalk users.

New update for Android is a million times better so far. Not as good as it was before but I can get used to this.

OMG tapatalk is de-evolving. Every new update is a step backwards, WTF are they doing? Another new update that makes me have to re-learn where everything is. I wish there was an alternative I could use to browse CP on my phone.

Latest update today for iOS is a good improvement, I would say. I can probably go back to using the app versus Safari on the iPhone.

Edit: okay, the ads that look like threads are really effing annoying.

Does anyone know why I have two CalgaryPuck's in my following list now? I tried long pressing to try and remove one, but TapaTalk crashes every time I do this.

Why am I getting ads in Tapatalk if i got the paid version? The reason I paid was so I wouldn't have to deal with ads.

Tapatalk is only ad-less if you purchased the paid, pro version (as opposed to the various paid non-pro versions they've released over the years). If you did buy the paid, pro version, there is a process to go through to have tapatalk remain ad-less. Check out the thread here:

Historically, we wanted to reward our Pro supporters, we created a VIP status for their Tapatalk ID accounts. Tapatalk VIP accounts allow us to thank Pro supporters by allowing them to browse without ads.

For anyone just finding this thread be sure your app order receipt says "Tapatalk Pro" on it and not Tapatalk 4 or Community Reader. VIP status is supposed to help Tapatalk PRO (and iOS HD) users maintain the functionality of the app they purchased. All previous versions of Tapatalk have functionality on parity with the current version; Again, *only* Invoices for Tapatalk Pro and HD for iOS qualify.

It's hard to believe how much goodwill they've ruined since Christmas. I'm not sure I'll ever upgrade from the older version I use now.

Holy jeebus. I haven't seen this version in ages. Style reminds me of gingerbread but it is certainly easy to pick up and use. I honestly wish they stuck with this while cleaning up the design.
Edit: Quick as well. I'm more than willing to put up with the outdated bits.

The latest Android update is pissing me off because it won't let me stay signed in. Logs me out every time I leave the program and there's no "stay signed in" check box.

I don't seem to be having that issue and I have tried force closing the app a few times as well. Haven't really noticed much of a difference except the odd button/layout change.

I swear it was doing it yesterday and today after an update...then I got another update this morning after my post and it seems to be fixed now.

Could be, saw an update earlier this morning but I don't remember using my phone mush yesterday. Could have been a fixed released after a bad update. Spent the weekend in cultus Lake so the phone was rarely seen.

What I hate the most is it doesn't cache properly and chooses to reset to whatever forum option I've set it to rather than returning to the thread I was in.
