Flames kill off the penalty. That makes for 44 of the last 45 penalties killed off.

Baertschi steals the puck at the blueline and takes it in alone!

How fast Baertschi was, I swore that was Poirier with the puck. I haven't seen Sven move like that in a LONG time.

Agostino and Vause get a 2 on 1 chance but it's a save.

Flames are buzzing now.

Poirier gets high sticked and it draws a penalty.

Flames to the PP!

If I didn't have the sound on I would've assumed it was Poirier as well. Haven't seen those kind of wheels on Sven as you said in a long long time, like when he first played for Calgary.

Cundari is going to lose feeling in his arms after all of his SOG on this PP. He just kept shooting.

Someone please get the refs a diagram about where to drop the puck after a whistle. Sheesh.

It looks like Baertschi is going to have one of those games. Hitting guys, making crisp passes, looks alert.

Finally nice to see this happening more often then not.

Hathaway and Reinhart breaking in shorthanded, but Hathaway gets taken out just short of the goal.

Would have been a great chance.

Huska Interview:

Looking at Utica games, should have won 3 of them. The series is closer then what it looks like on paper. Likes the way they worked last night and if they keep it up they should be rewarded soon.

Rochester is a good team when you let forwards into the game. Need to be harder to play against tonight then last game against them and play a better checking game. Need to do whatever it takes to win the game.

Amerks and Flames match up very closely and small mistakes are what makes the difference between the win and loss against them.

Turner Elson has been good for them over the last while. Playing with more confidence and belief he can make a difference. He works hard and generating things on ice. He was played more as Huska felt he was around puck more and working more for that goal.

Knight has been good coming back from injury. You appreciate what he brings to the table when you see him play more. Offensive ability and playmaking as well as reliable defensively. Comfortable having him on the ice in all situations.

Very happy with Ramage's play. His attitude is allowing him to have success now at the rink. Comes to the rink and prepared to play. He's being rewarded with alot of ice time because of it.

Wished Brodie Reid the best of luck when he saw he signed with the Amerks. He's a great player and hopes he does well with the Amerks, except tonight. He can go back to being good when the Amerks bus leaves the parking lot.
