yes bible thumping morons using this as an excuse to say their Christmas was ruined.... Nothing like celebrating the birth of a guy who wasn't born on Dec 25 with a bunch of gifts and threats that the kid doesn't act well they meet Krampus.

Was there a religious angle that I missed?

Prudish people come from all backgrounds.

When I read the thread title I was worried they were going to say it's not safe to eat.

Unless "Kid's First Heroin Addiction" was in the box, it probably isn't enough to ruin Christmas.

And obviously this woman has never decorated a cake with a plastic decorator. I have professional ones in my cupboard that look like that. It is how they look. My kid has even used one and I don't think she's a sex addict or scarred for life now.

Default Play-Doh controversy

Aside from stupid people getting upset, which shouldn't surprise us - can we discuss how this product was designed by a toy designer and was approved? There is no way this was designed without a phallic element in mind.

LOL at the dumb**** who thought this "ruined Christmas"

No lady, your 4 year old can not tell this looks like a penis. So instead of bitching about something insignificant, how about you just snicker to yourself and let your kid have her fun.

Someone either failed in the design department or succeeded in the how to generate online marketing buzz department.

Not sure which.

I know some people in the toy industry. There was no intent to make something inappropriate for kids.

Based on the look of the set, the syringe is designed to look like a decorated cake. This is a simple case of one person, with a dirty mind, making a comment on social media and the general public running with it. This kind of thing happens all the time. Unfortunately, people love 'bad press'.

While this person thinks Hasbro ruined her Christmas, I can assure you that she has ruined many more Hasbro employees' Christmas with her post. There will be some hand slapping and public apology making in days to come from the toy company. Thousands of dollars will be spent to 'correct' the situation with recalls and retooling.

The thing looks exactly like the thing it's trying to replicate.

God forbid they make a BBQ set which contains hot dogs

Perhaps they were just copying the actual device? My wife is big into baking and all that and this is the exact one she has (photo compliments of Google)

I wonder if she's already complained to Oscar Mayer and Chiquita...
