Anyone here know what their record has been for this calendar year? The second half a last season and the start of this season has me very optimistic for this team going forward.
Go Flames Go!
Happy New Years cp!
This confirms my suspicion that many people do not read the OP. First friggin' paragraph too.

4-1 Calgary.
Oilers come in here cocky and overconfident because of their win over LA.
Their legs die on them in the 3rd period where we crush them with our speed.

Long-time lurker here.
Thank you for your write-ups, Cali Flames Fan! They are very detailed and a great read. I think it's safe to say that everyone on this board appreciates the work you and Halifax Drunk do with these awesome GDTs.
As for the game, I am going to predict a 5-3 win for the NHL team tonight. Gaudreau (2), Jooris, Colbourne and Stajan with the goals.
Edmonton is no good.

I predict Gaudreau will score a goal. I will let the rest be a surprise.
Happy to have Juju back. Hope he's pumped up for this one

Nice to see Gaudreau sporting the ankle guards. Smart.
Also like the pic of Glencross right on top of the Oilers' goalie and Schultz behind the net....for some reason.

Could lead to an epic finish. Monahan scores two goals to take the lead, Oilers pull the empty net looking to tie...

The PA filed a grievance against that and won. Flames cannot make players wear them but I think the players actually believe in using them .

Yeah I thought so too, but then I saw the next pic and Glencross doesn't have them.
Odd since Glencross is probably blocking more shots than JG. And JG is probably just toeing the company line by wearing them, but really, why not? Literally doesn't hinder anything.
