Family had 4 seats in section 216, row 1 for a number of years. They don't get better than that if you want a prime view of the Flames attack.
Now I'm at the opposite end and further up. Not nearly as great.

The seat beside my wife, was the best seat in the dome.
Iginla scored the shootout winner against Vancouver (sat in the front of section 227, IIRC).

Oooh. I hope she reads CP so you get some credit for that.

Sixth row behind opposition net for Game 5 of first-round 1989 vs Canucks.
14th row behind Flames net for game three first round 2008 vs sharks (Sarich rocks Marleau and Flames pull off amazing comeback)
Standing at the Corral vs Devils when I was just a wee lad. First pro hockey game!

Row 1, 212, centre ice.
Best seats in the house. The ones on the otherside are great too, if only because you can see the benches.
Being front row for the Flames shalacking the Hawks a couple eyars ago was pretty awesome, but I''m generally not a fan of front row. Tough to see the whole game.
Sitting in 228 and seeing Gelinas eliminate Detroit is my all-time favorite flames experience.

Row 120 Row 5 was the best seats
I do have to agree PL sections Row 1-3 hasthe best emotions and its more lively in my opinion. On top of that you get to see people getting escorted out.

Me too!!! Wasn't a wee lad though.
I forgot about that. I was fortunate enough to go and watch the Flames play in the Corral shortly after they arrived here in Calgary. Awesome seats!! Best ever!!!!
(those were the days.... no nets, nothing between you and a flying puck!)

JK, i watch the majority of games from there too.
It really depends on what you like, second level is great for seeing the overall action, but being up-close is an awesome experience too. you really appreciate the speed of the game and size of the players when you're in the first couple rows. The restaurant is a cool experience too, drinks and food close by and no lineups at the bathrooms...

The highest row in those sections is row 13.

Best for watching the game is anything in between the blue lines in the first row on the second tier.
My seasons are awesome and terrible at the same time. (Section 215 row 17)
Awesome because you can get in and out of the dome in a matter of minutes by skipping the concourse and using the elevator up and down from the avison young doors. There are also washrooms which rarely have a line and the saddleroom lounge within 30 seconds of the seats.
Terrible because I pay double what the person 6 seats over does and always somehow remind myself of it when watching the game.
So in reality, value wise I would say the seat 6 down from me is the best!

109 right at highest water lever during flood. Found seats back in mid 90's when there were many such seats available. Hope to keep the seats in the family, although not looking forward to increased prices in a new arena.

I was at the Owners' Box twice as part of a promo. Nice service and food but a weird feeling, overall. The owners are all there and they clearly do not want to mingle with anyone else that much, which is understandable, I suppose. We were told not to approach them. Edwards just stood there behind the counter and watched the entire game standing up with a drink; did not even talk to other owners.
Watched the game from behind the goal, next to where Ken King sits all the time. That was cool but you miss a lot of the game from there, as visibility is not that great.
My favourite seats are in Row 2, Section 226. You can see the entire ice and the attack developing, yet close enough to see players' faces and emotions.

Its been a few years since I have been able to make it to Calgary for a game. I finally get a chance to go watch Edmonton lose on January 9th. Been a long time since I have had a chance to jeer there also.

Sections 211, 212, 213
Rows 1-5
(Same could be said for the 225, 226, 227 sections)
People in these areas (have the best seats in the house IMO). They are vocal and very friendly.
Best seats for an Oilers fan??
At home on your no good couch.

Before the renos in the 90s I used to sit in the 4th row of what is now 205 (formerly FF). A few times I would sit in section 114 (was that section S? )
In recent years I've been all over the place. The best is probably the 17th row in section 227. In the new year I'll be in row 4 of section 225, so I'm looking forward to that.

Best seats I have had were in the Sun box lower bowl (doubt they have it anymore). Can't beat having your own fridge, catered food, replay TV and bathroom.
Besides box seats I'd say:
Best view - First row on the balcony, blue line, attack zone.
Best comfort - Club seats, 2/3 up. Wide cushy seats, waitress, drink holders.
Best experience - Second level about 20 rows up, 2004 game 6 against Detroit, absolute pandemonium.

I had section 225 row 1 for the Flames run in 2004. Best seats of my life, best time of my life outside the birth of my daughter. They cost about as much as a first born as well.
