Much MUCH better 2nd period. Flames already have 2 SOG, matching what they did in all of the 1st period.

Ortio with a sliding save on the wraparound.

Weird play as the puck bounced off Yonkman's visor and on to a Comets stick to make the move.

Flames rush it up ice and Wotherspoon with a shot and save.

Ortio coming up big again. Hanowski with a great defensive play to protect the open side of the net with a Comets player right there.

The lack of practice, no games in awhile and what you can assume was a large dinner definitely showing right now.

The fight at the beginning of the game is still probably the longest stretch of any flurry of activity in the game.

I think Ortio got some sort of Stretch Armstrong doll for Christmas and stuffed that under his jersey because I'm not sure how he's made some of those saves. His arms are reaching out alot longer then he should be able to.

Vause with a huge shot and Markstrom makes a great glove save.

Nice passing play with Vause and Wolf.
