That was going to be my guess as well.

Just a word to the wise.... never.... and I mean NEVER try to diagnose something over the internet. You will have yourself dead and buried before the end of the week.

Many types of viral infections ranging from minor to extremely serious, have similar types of symptoms in the early stages. The real kicker is that some of the same symptoms can also be attributed to the anxiety of thinking you're sick. Plus, there will often be some trolls that try to feed that anxiety.

To the OP, just go see a doctor. You will be glad you did.

Do you consume caffeine later in the day such as tea or coffee? My grandmothers complained of being warm and sweaty and uncomfortable at night as well as muscle cramps when they drank tea (super, duper strong tea). Asking them to dilute their tea/drinking more water (just water, not beverages) helped them a little.

Remainder I'd lean on anxiety and medication. But this is CP, Calgary puck, not Calgary physicians. You def should talk to a doc.

I have those viciously from fevers in the past. Nothing worse. Wake up roasting hot, get out of bed, shower off, back into soaked bed you feel to miserable to change, and you freeze.
