Rangers play a similar style to ours. But they might be a little faster. Could be a tough one

From what Treliving was saying yesterday, I'm not surprised about Raymond getting scratched. Sounds like they are concerned about how far behind he is conditioning wise this season. Not to say at all that they think he's out of shape or anything, just that missing most of camp, then over half the games so far this year, most players have reached that extra gear needed in mid-season, while Raymond is still stuck in training camp shape.

Don't mind Raymond down for a game.

Based on those line rushes, looks like Raymond may be a candidate to sit out tonight. We'll see. #Flames

Hartley hasn't decided about his fourth line tonight. Safe to say Raymond is a game time decision. #Flames

I really hope they go with Bollig-Stajan-Bouma fourth line, I'm a big fan of a crash and bang line, feel it helps wear other teams down if they work hard, hit, battle on the boards and to be honest I liked that out of them when Stajan was hurt and Baertschi was with those two. I'd sit Bryon slot Raymond in on the third line but would prefer this rather than having him play on the fourth and Bollig sit.

Can't say Raymond has added anything at this stage, so more bag skates for him. I like him making a decent pass out of the zone better than Bollig though.

When Raymond doesn't utilize his speed, the rest of his game suffers. I've noticed it over the years in Vancouver. I've also noticed he takes longer than average to return to a high level after an injury, which drove Vancouver fans crazy because he had plenty of injuries.

Gave my ticket to wife's sister as a birthday present, so that they can go to the game together. I know I should be feeling good about it, right?..

If anything, you should have taken your wife's ticket and given it to a buddy so your wife could spend time with her sister!

I agree, we need a crash and bang line. I don't see Stajan as that, so if I was the one that could make the lines, I'd have Byron center the 4th line with Bollig and Bouma as the wingers. My preference (if Raymond is sitting tonight):

Gaudreau - Monahan - Colborne ---> (Let's see how this line can do together)
Granlund - Jooris - Hudler ---> (Curious to see how Granlund can do on the wing with Hudler and Jooris)
Glencross - Stajan - Jones ---> (We could use a veteran line)
Bollig - Byron - Bouma ---> (Our crash and bang line as mentioned).

I prefer keeping hudler and gaudreau together. It's nice having two skilled guys who compliment each other in puck possession. Plays aren't dying on their sticks when one passes to the other. Would love to see Monahan with Johnny and hudler though. Our 3 best forwards on the same line.

Go flames go!

I like this lineup. It's time for a bit of a shakeup to try to get guys going.
