The Capitals played well, especially Backstrom as he scored a natural hat trick to give his team a 3-0 lead. The Lightning tried to strike back and made 3-2 before the Capitals an empty net goal to win 4-2. It was a fun game to watch as it felt like a divisional game between southeastern foes.

Rangers up 2-0 over Vancouver quickly. McDonagh on a 3-on-1, then the Rangers get another right after and don't score, but promptly come back and JT Miller scores on a 2-on-1!

3-0 Rangers!

Zuccarello on another 3-on-1!

There have literally been three 3-on-1s and one 2-on-1 for the Rangers through the first 7 minutes. Also 3 goals on 3 straight shots.

Miller with a .333 SV% so far.

Not watching the game but I'm gonna assume the Canucks are dropping a fresh Oiler on the ice.

Friggin Coyotes couldn't hold the lead against the Wild. Tie game with three minutes left.

Ten minutes in and they've allowed 5 odd man rushes by my count. Two 3 on 1's

Miko Koivu robbed in OT all alone with a huge glove save by Smith.

The amount of 2 on 1 plays the Rangers had in the first period must be a record.

The Blues-Avalanche game is the better game to watch, it is 1-1 after one period. Allen is in net for the Blues.

I quite enjoy watching the Canucks get stomped at home

The Stars are ahead of the Devils 4-2 in the third period.

The Sharks are ahead 1-0 over the Predators in the first period.
