Well then, why didn't you drive to an indoor heated parkade and speed up the thawing. Or throw a bucket of cold water on your cat.

So.....you waited for the window to thaw so you could climb out your window??? Bad-ass!
I realized you opened your door with your outside handle.

I got stuck in bed this morning. I woke up on the side of the bed that is against the wall and my bedroom window was frozen shut. Is there a fix for this? I imagine I have to take the window casing right off.

I got stuck in my shower this morning. When I was done, the shower curtain wouldn't open. Is there a fix for this? I imagine I guess I may have to demolish the wall side.

Reminds me of the time I got stuck in my house.
We recently moved in and the house had an alarm. One night it started beeping and in my sleepy stupor I got up and starting pushing buttons to make it stop but instead armed the system for which I didn't have a PIN # to deactivate. There were motion detectors on the main floor so I didn't know if I could even go downstairs without setting it off. I had to go online to find the alarm company and called them. Thankfully they were able to tell me it was safe to go downstairs but that I couldn't open the doors or windows. They gave me instructions on where to find the alarm panel and battery and had me disconnect it so that I was free again!
