I was on a flight from Regina to Calgary a couple of days ago. Packed with rider fans in full regalia. I reminded many that SK wasn't actually playing in the game. They laughed and said they wear their 'colors' everywhere. Anyway, to a man they were cheering for Hamilton. I didn't quite realize how many people hate the Stamps and Stamps fans. Cornish is especially hated by rider fans.
I think that's pretty normal cheering for the opponent of their rival team. I would cheer for the Eastern team too if the Stampeders are not playing. It is also normal that Rider fans hated Cornish. Us Stampeder fans can't stand Darian Durant, Getzlaf, Dressler and other Riders.
I am not sure if I believe the Herald re: Stampeders libeup tomorrow. It shows Frank Beltre taking Charleston Hughes position at the end while Demonte Bolden in for Dequin Evans. What puzzled me is their offensive lineup on WR position. They have Joe West and Maurice Price and Eric Rogers is nowhere to be seen. The guy just caught a couple of nice TD passes and he is scratch? I would put him ahead of Joe West right now.
Rogers is in. Beltre is backing up Lemon and Bishop starting opposite him. 2 players need to be sat I expect them to be Harrison and West. Could be Cunningham but he'll be returning kicks so he likely draws in.
I just got a $400 seat for on the sidelines near one of the endzones. Not a huge football fan but it'll be cool to go to a Grey Cup. I've always had a soft spot for the Stamps being a Flames fan so I'll probably pull for them.
I never realized though until today just how much the Stamps are hated in Vancouver. They were even selling "Anyone but The Stamps" shirts at The Roar Store at the Street Festival.
Here's some cell phone pics I took at the festival today:

Harrison hasn't been playing lately. My money goes to Joe West sitting out. I think Mo Price will play and will be count on his big play. None of the receivers can return punts other than McDaniel and Parker. I would rather see both of them concentrate in playing receiver so it mean Cunningham should be in. We still have too many players on the depth chart. I can't remember how many players are the teams allowed to dress. I thought 42 players but I could be wrong.

Had no worries last week against the Esks....not so much this week. My biggest concern isn't in matchups or who is the better team as Calgary wins that stuff hands down...its much more the returning Ti-Cats team that was here last year and lost. I don't have a data set or anything but it seems to me that throughout pro sports when a team loses a championship game/series and comes back the next season, they generally win. That may just be a perception not supported by fact, but just seems that way to me.
All that being said though, because the Stamps are only 2 years removed from losing this game themselves, that karma is negated quite a bit. With BLM truly blossoming into a superstar QB, the best O-line in the game and a healthy and hungry Corndog ready to roll, we just need some help from what has been a pretty stout defense most of the year....and I think they deliver.

Looks like a lot of the tsn panel are feeling the cats right now. Dunnigan going as far as saying he thinks we have something big going on behind the scenes from our walk through because we ran live reps lol.
This will either be us putting a stamp on the season with a blowout win or we lose a close one.
