End of 1st Period

0-1 Marlies

Shots on Goal: 8-7 Flames

Not the Flames best period. Much room for improvement. Not playing their game very well at all.

Wow, excellent promotion coming up for anyone in the Glen Falls area. If you attend the game on Saturday and have a child under 14, they are giving away a free youth Flames jersey (actual one) for free to the first 1000 kids.

Tonight was apparently team poster night.

Huska Interview:

Flames Win Streak - Learned in a hurry that if teams have won or lost alot of teams, it doesn't matter. Teams are good. Some teams will have bad stretches and turn it around to good ones.

Turner Elson/Forwards Situation - Turner was playing well before he got injured. Did a good job staying in shape while out. Only missed a week on ice. Hopes he picks up where he left off being one of the best forwards on the ice.

Forwards are doing a good job back checking and letting the defence stay on the blue line. Learning how to break out quicker and spend more time in offensive zone.

Thanksgiving Break - few guys coming over for Thanksgiving dinner. He is Canadian, but happy to celebrate with the US players/staff.

Start of the 2nd period.

Apparently its only the 2nd time this year the Marlies have taken a lead into the 2nd period. They still lost those games.

Yikes, Agostino is down on the ice flat on his face. Crashed into a Marlies player bigger then him.

Replay actually looks like he missed the first hit, crashed into a 2nd Marlies player after dodging it.

Agostino is up but looks to be bleeding from the mouth. Going straight to the room.

Jeez, same guy that nailed Agostino just got Tousignant.

Biggs is just asking for a meeting with Gillies.

5'11" Tousignant trying to engage 6'5" Bodie into a fight. Bodie won't go.

Marlies still controlling the play and tone of the game.

Flames really look like they are running around and trying to play with men much bigger then them.

Wolf and Vause are easily the little sparkplugs of the team tonight. Most, if not all, scoring chances tonight have been because of them.

Centres are being waived out of the face-off circle at an amazing rate this game. I don't think we've had one clean face-off all game.

Flames have killed off the penalty. We are now at 27 straight kills.

The Marlies are now jawing Flames players in front of the Flames bench. Gillies looks about ready to go with someone. Marlies have been pushing the team around, throwing the bigger hits and now mouthing off.

Damn - didn't know there was a game. Oh well, can catch the last half anyway.

Such a great way to fill the time until the Flames game!

Vause and Hanowski with a good rush into the zone.

Vause can't be sent back at this point. He's far too good.

Elson-Tousignant-Reinhart now being sent out of a line.

Huska looking for something to get the game back in the Flames control. Marlies still dictating.

Edit: Sorry Reinhart, not Hanowski. Me of all people should be able to tell them apart...
