If it was me I would hit up some of those large warehouses in the SE. I used to work nights loading trailers for Walmart. I think the company I worked for was Supply Chain Management. Huge warehouse.
We had guys working all sorts of odd hours.

Depends on what time you want to work, but warehouse chains are always looking for lumpers.

have you thought about becoming the new mr. plow?
my answer would be retail, seems i see signs up at almost every store. pick something close to home, or on your way between the office and home.

Reflecting what others have said:
I think the data entry one is called Symcor or something like that. Usually you have to work at dead of night. Might have flexible hours, or you might have to nap before work and sleep light for a few months.
Some retail works, not always though.
Mail sorting stuff might work... never heard of moonlighting roles though. Warehouse stuff, maybe.
Not having a car might limit you though...
One that others have not mentioned yet (At least not what I've noticed):
What are you capable of doing that you can do easily and quickly. Perhaps CP members can hire you for quick/random jobs. Might be a few good Samaritans offering a free ride too?
This includes manual labour (ie: bought a couch/theatre system, wife can't carry with me), setting up electronics, fixing laptops, tire swap, engine bay cleaning, car cleaning and polishing, babysitting, sorting misc items, man cave layout consulting, demolition, handy work, reselling something for someone on Ebay/Kijiji and taking a small fee, house sitting/shoveling driveways etc.

I'm going to reach out to some temp agencies as well.
Keep the ideas coming guys! I really appreciate them as they're helping me get out of this bind

I know Stampede is looking for temp serving/clearing staff for Christmas...shifts can be fairly short, you get wage plus some gratuities, and it's a short term gig that, if you wanted, could probably turn into an ongoing casual gig. I am pretty sure that anybody who wants to work and is at all competent would get at least a chance.

Income Tax
One thing I remember from having a second job was I really has to pay at income tax time. It was someting about claiming the basic claim twice so even though I was paying income tax from both jobs, it wasn't nearly enough. It was about 15 yr's ago and I don't remember all the details but I has to pay around $500 come income tax time. I went the next day and started to get extra tax taken off at both jobs. There has to be tax guys on here who can explain a little better, but something to keep in mind when filling out the initla paper work.
I would also look towards a serving job, tips are huge in the restraunt industry. There is a good feeling that comes with going home each night with $150 bucks in your pocket.

Serving. There are lots of restaurants where you can get out of there after a 5-10 shift with over $100.

Getting seasonal work at retail might start to prove difficult since hiring has already started for many places.

When they give you the TD-1 and AB-1 to fill out to figure out your deductions cross out the basic personal amount and then put 0 at the bottom of the form and you will avoid this.

If you would like to scorekeep for an adult hockey league let me know... I can get you hooked up. It might only be a single game a night but 25 bucks for 1hr and 15 min of just sitting there is nice.

I was going to suggest the Saddledome gig too. Get to watch hockey/concerts etc.
For a ####tier job... I worked a few days at Fedex off Peigan years ago. It was loading/unloading trucks and I think it was from 6-11ish.
