I'd personally never hit a girl, but this is a prime example of girls thinking they're invincible because of the never hit a girl rule. He could only take so much and she hit him first. I don't condone what he did, but good lord what a miserable, awful human being she is.

I'm not likely going to get myself into the sort of situation this woman placed herself in, because I'm not lifting a hand to someone unless they've already lifted one to me and I'm defending/trying to protect myself. But if for some reason I'm stupid enough to stand in a subway car and scream at someone and start assaulting them, I would expect that I would get a smack or two back at the very least. Even as a woman.

I don't care who you are. Harass and assault someone long enough, I imagine most people are going to fight back at some point, regardless of sex.

Certain parts of culture perpetuating the thug mentality results in what we saw. It's not so much the race as it is the culture that values toughness, violence, egotism, crime and public shaming. I had a similar thing happen to my family on a train in Florida and a group of people like in the video were crowding around doing similar things. Fortunately we got off the train.

Morons and mob mentality are everywhere, but this particular type of behaviour is not uncommon among lower income African Americans in urban centers. Morons and thugs exist in Canada too, but not of this variety. Worldstar is a staple of African American urban culture, being oblivious to it isn't really indicative of not being cultured.
